This call is intended for federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial retail food agency officials. Please do not post this message outside of your Agency.
Dear Colleagues,
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), in conjunction with the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), will host a 50-State conference call to discuss the Retail Flexible Funding (RFFM) Grant Portal.
The portal is the application point for applying for grant funding opportunities open to retail food regulatory agencies at the state, local, territorial, and tribal (SLTT) level who are enrolled in the Voluntary National Retail Food Regulatory Program Standards (Retail Program Standards). Retail food regulatory agencies not enrolled in the Retail Program Standards may also attend to gain an understanding of the grant’s funding opportunities should they wish to enroll. The call will include information on the application portal and allow time for questions to assist applicants in the process of applying for the grant.
Registration for the RFFM Grant Program is currently open and grant applications will be accepted from September 9 – November 15, 2021. SLTT retail food regulatory programs may register and apply for funding by visiting: http://neha.org/retailgrants.
